The Moon
the moon is a great silver coin that hangs in space by a thread of silver mist. Below the trees are tall and gloomy blending into the nighttime darkness. their branches sway in the wind wave at the sky fresh raindrops balance on blades of grass like pearls a float a dark green sea. Moon beams illuminate the watery droplets. The ground below me shines like the starry sky above. Crickets sing their ever-repating song to an audiance of stars. In the distance steetlights shine flooding roads with golden mist. The air is chilly so i must go home now. But as i venture back to my familiar world, I can almost hear wind through the trees whispering goodnight.
