AWKWARD!

Awkward is the word I use to describe a lot of moments... But the most recent one I think fits it the most. My Ex and I were talking and somehow she got her hand onto my leg, I stared at it for like five seconds then picked her hand up by her finger and put it onto her leg. Another two minutes and i find it yet again on my leg, and I do the same thing. Next thing I know she's sitting on my lap facing me staring at me... So I just sat there and said "Okay you do know I'm dating somebody right?" She said "Yea... I know..." and kept looking at me. So I tilted my head a bit and asked "So why are you sitting on my lap?" She said "What I can't sit on my bestie's lap?" And I just looked at her weirdly... It's just strange how some girls that you date still act as if your dating after you break up... I talked to her after and she said that she just wanted to have a little fun with me. Eh... Girls confuzzle me sometimes... But in the end... A poem about revenge!

Her eyes shone in the morning sun. Surly she was the one. One one the only one for me. She was very pretty. Of all the oceans and all the sea, she belonged to me. But then a boy came along, considered a tramp that didn't belong. Used lame phrases that weren't sweet. But somehow he swept her off her feet. Now she left me for that tramp. His mom's abusive. His dad's an addict. They kept him locked up in the attic. He only had one meal a day. He just wanted to run away. But his parents wanted him to stay. Every day after school he wanted friends to come over. His parents gave him a blow to the head. His mom yelled “Get up to the attic if you don't want to be dead!” Every night he cried himself to sleep. He slept with only one sheet on the floor. One day his parents busted through the door. His mom held a knife his dad held a bat. The acted as if he was a rat. Swinging the bat his dad hit him in the leg. His mom came closer with the knife. He was afraid for his life. His mom had a glassy look in her eyes. She stabbed him in the chest. “You don't deserve to live you pest!” He lie there dying. He heard sirens in the distance. His parents panicked. They ran out of the attic. The police kicked in the door. The child still lay on the floor. The officer found the child. He smiled and picked him up. The boy was pale and scared. This time, it was too close. He now is in the service to help abused children. His parents locked up for life. He has two un-abused children and a wife.

Love

Love is a fragile emotion. Most people feel it later in life. But if you love someone, the feeling is untreatable. Love can make you do strange things. Maybe even do things you should not do. You might loose track of what is going on. Make eye contact. It is the only way. Love comes more than once. But if you let it go, it might not come back. Do not loose faith, it will come. If you do, you will be lost. Lost in your regretful mind. Trapped, stuck, in full darkness. Let go, be free, it is the best way. Love somebody, it is fine. Love me, even love you. But, do not hate.
